you can do alot at 18 months!! (like make your photographer gasp for air chasing after a cute little one like Alexander!!! I've been shooting him since he was 6 months old... what a big growth spurt!! as always, a delightful little one to capture on film... here are some favorite shots and quick designs i put together from our June 24th session...

Stephanie and Alex's Bridal Shoot

As most of you remember my past post of Stephanie and Alex's wedding, here they are again in a fabulous encore!!
the very wonderful "bridal shoot" ... in which, yes, bride and groom get married, go on their honeymoon and then wear the dress and tux once more!! by the way, I never thought I was also a "florist" haha.. I made the bouquet by hand.. :):):)

ROAD TRIP

Did i ever mention I LOVE DESTINATION weddings!!???
I was asked to shoot a wedding in Gasparilla Island a couple weeks ago... (pics to be posted soon) and i also had some time to explore an area that was completely new to me... Stephanie from Take a Seat events also joined me on this event... here are a couple of pics...

we went to a restaurant called the "south beach"... delicious fresh fish sandwiches!
We stayed in a small resort called "the innlet"... highly recommended!! They have TEMPUR PEDIC mattresess... (i sleep on one of these back home, so i was sooo happy to sleep on these on location shooting!... this place is like a "cape cod" mixed with "florida keys" laid back feel! It's sooo nice. I will defenitely come back to visit..

I also took pics as I "drove by" these quaint townhomes.. i might just buy one of these and let it be my vacation home! :)
my husband fell in love with them. (he practically made me take pictures of it every time we passed by it..) he made me take pics of the "for sale" signs with the information on it, so we wouldn't forget.. :)

for those of you who don't know, Gasparilla is the "Tarpon Capital of the World"... meaning: lots of Tarpon fish swimming around everywhere.. they're actually a fun and tough fight for fishing.. but it's strictly catch and release.. i love fishing. next time i come, i'll bring a boat. :)

I didn't want to leave this place at all.. the drive home was gloomy because it rained.. so i took pictures of my ipod.. music always makes me feel better..

there are really cool looking broken down bridges... see pic below. i had no time to switch over to my 200mm so i couldn't get up close to that bride... (we were driving by )
